This central park maternity session was one to be remembered. Y’all, when I say that these two are about to be one fun set of parents to this newborn, it is not an understatement. From the moment I walked up at the Bethesda Fountain, I could tell that this session would be one for the books.

Central Park Maternity Session

You know when you meet people who’s energy just clicks with who you are? That is Kate and Sean.
I met Kate and Sean in Central Park on a Saturday afternoon. Bethesda Terrace was full of families, tourists, and dogs running about in the sun. The weather was fairly humid for a summer day in New York, but luckily the shade had a bit of a cooling effect. They were standing with their sweet dog Mick, and dear friend Allison. Kate was glowing (as expecting mothers usually are), so they were easy to spot in the crowd of people.

As we made our way to the first location, I knew we were going to enjoy our time together. Kate chatted with me, telling me a bit more about their story, as Sean and Allison followed joyfully along, with Mick leading the way. As I began to guide them through session, the poses came to them naturally. The love that Kate and Sean have for each other pours out of them. And it showed, as they smiled and giggled their way through our session. Both mom and dad-to-be have such a playful, and energetic calm about them. This is a love and energy that is already overflowing in preparation for welcoming their newborn into this world.
